The Arrow of Light
The Arrow of Light is Nentico Lodge’s newsletter, serving to advertise lodge events, share information on past activities, recognize Arrowmen, and more. Currently, the newsletter is written and compiled mainly by the Vice Chief of Communications and is distributed monthly.
Evidence of Nentico’s newsletter dates all the way back to 1940, when it was called “The Nentico Bulletin” and typed on a typewriter. The name was changed in 1967 to “The Arrow of Light” and the newsletter moved to being printed instead of typed. As technology improved, pictures and graphics began to be incorporated into the newsletter. Around 2015, the AOL transitioned to an online newsletter with color photographs from a printed version in black and white. However, a few years later, publication of the newsletter slowly decreased until it was no longer published. Publication of the newsletter restarted in September of 2025 and it is currently being released monthly.
